Audix: Nile V Nearfield Monitors

I don't think I've ever been 100% happy with a set of monitors - it's more a case of getting used to what you are working with in order to achieve mixes that will work in the real world. For the last few months I've been tracking and checking my mixes on a pair of the Audix Nile V speakers, and while I've been somewhat happy with the sound of them I'm still not sure I want to keep them. Don't get me wrong, they're pretty clear- sounding - smooth high end without too much bite, the mids are much easier to take than NS-10Ms, and I can hear the image of a mix pretty well although low end seems to be lacking. The thing that bugs me is that I'm not blown away, but I wonder if I ever will be blown away by a pair of speakers that are actually useful for mixing on. Is this a never-ending battle?
