See Issue #28 for my full review of Altiverb for MAS, a plug-in that I would consider the best software reverb I've heard. Well now it's available for RTAS and VST as well as MAS. You can check audioease.com for a complete list of impulse responses, but I want to take this space to rave about the "sample" of Wendy Carlos's EMT 140 Plate. It sounds gorgeous! (And the download is free.) I've even been using Altiverb as a standalone reverb while mixing analog sessions. (Altiverb is $495, audioease.com)
