Classic-style indie rock recorded on 1" 16-track decks at Interval Music (Wow & Flutter's space in Milwaukie, OR) and at Type Foundry (a veritable institution in Portland). It has that basement- style murkiness of many 'home-made" records, although at times cool tones and fidelity sneak through which makes it seem they may need a stronger hand at mix down time. The mastering, by Mike Lastra at Smegma, seems a little uneven to my ears - maybe just better mastering would help? But if you ask them, it's a case of finances, and that I do understand.
