Mark Robinson does the remix thing on the Multiple Cat with surprisingly good results. The four tracks on this CD never fall into looped house tedium, they instead retain the shape of songs. There are a couple of smooth dance beats in the picture, but Robinson's focus is on the material's melodic aspect. As far as production goes, it has the ultra-clean digital sound that normally goes along with this type of project and while this often causes music to sound artificial and lifeless, these songs benefit from the added ethereal quality.
